About us

Leo borealis, CZ is cattery concerned about Norwegian forest cats in Brno, CZ. I have only two studs (one available) in the cattery, one future queen cat (kitten) and two spayed cats, now. 

We place the health of our breeding cats in the first place. For me as a breeder is more important type-stability (strong boning, coat quality, look) and perfect temperament than coat colour. 

My breeding goal is to produce healthy offspring so-close-to-standard-as-possible with affectionate, friendly, vivid temperament, strong bones, full coat in adultery and typical Norwegian alert look.

All our animals live with us as beloved family members. They share with us all the rooms in our flat. We are very interested in sound health and the welfare of all our animals. 

If any of our animals fell in love with a certain human, we can sell this cat to forever pet home. We believe that the rehoming of castrated breeding animals is not because of financial reason but because of better pet living. 

Kittens are ready to go to a new home in 13 weeks of age, they are at least 3 times dewormed, twice vaccinated against cat infection diseases and once vaccinated against Rabies, are microchipped and they have their own Pet Passport and FIFé (CSCH-SCHK) pedigree. Before they leave our home, every kitten is checked by our veterinarian and FIV and FeLV test has done. 

All our kittens are housetrained in the close family circle, they are habituated to the presentation at the catshows and are friendly to strangers (incl. veterinarian), visitors, children and dogs.  

I prefer to meet You in person at least at the moment when You come to my home for the kitten to buy. I need to know that You are The Chosen One who my kitten chooses to be her/his Human. I need to Know, who You are and how do You interact with me and/or my kitten(s). 

If I sell You my kitten, it only starts our common way with Leo borealis' kitten. I will be very pleased if You send me some news about the kitten, some photos or videos. I will be happy if I could meet You with "my" offspring at the catshow in person, too.
