Stud services arrangements

Conditions under which I will consider your request:

• The cat is Norwegian Forest Cat with registered pedigree*, tested, during the time of mating is clinically healthy, the cat is in an appropriate nutritional condition and free from parasites, is registered in the breeding program.

• Your cat is fully vaccinated and is immune.

• The cat is tested for GSD IV with N/N result, is FeLV neg./vaccinated, FIV neg., Streptococcus canis neg., Chlamydophila spp. neg./vaccinated, Mycoplasma spp. neg., white cats and van cats are BAER tested and have a normal hearing on both ears. At return service (no pregnancy) only the vaccination and parasites are controlled.

• Cats older than 20 months have a normal USG heart result (HCM status normal) and kidneys (PKD negative result). 

• The cat owner substantiates verification about the membership in the breeding organization as well as in the cattery where the Queen cat delivers the kittens.

• The cat owner outside FIFé has highly recommended substantiating the breeding mentor's opinion about this match.

• The Stud cat owner has the right to reject the mating if is convinced that the match wouldn't be beneficial for the breed progress, in this case, the owner can suggest a more suitable stud cat.

Conditions and terms of the mating:

• Stud cat is NFO with pedigree, registered in LO, in breeding condition, fully vaccinated and immune, has GSD IV N/N, PKD & CIN/CRF sonographically negative (latest scan 2017-03-22 for Gustaf Geri, 2018-10-20 for Xerxes), HCM/RCM echocardiographically negative (latest scan 2017-03-22 for Gustaf Geri, 2018-10-20 for Xerxes), FeLV negative, FIV negative, the stud cat is tested before the mating for Streptococcus canis, Chlamydophila spp., Mycoplasma spp., Giardia intestinalis and Tritrichomonas foetus. Stud cat is tested before every mating if previously mated another cat. Approximately one week prior planned the date of the mating the stud cat will be treated for outer parasites and dewormed.

• The stud cat owner is a member of FIFé.

• The mating will take place in the apartment of the stud cat owner. The place is safe for cats (it's secured), it's quiet and spacious. The room will be equipped with cold clean water, food, toys, scratcher, resting area, daily cleaned toilets and privacy. The room is regularly ventilated and has plenty of natural light. No other cats can enter this room during the breeding period. 

• The cat owner will receive photo documentation from the breeding

Notes:

• If you require other, less standard tests that your cat absolved with a negative result, please let us know ahead so that we can do the tests and receive the results. The cost of the additional tests will be partially added to your first mating fee.

• We use woody clumping litter and silicate, please provide us with a small package of your own litter if your cat is used to something else.

• Your cat can be fed with the stud's super-premium dry food and pouches of wet food or raw human grade meat or with your own food (we can individually make an agreement)

• Written Contract for use a stud will be available in 2 copies. Copies of all tests from both parents are included in the contract.

• The standard time that cats spend with a stud cat is 3-7 days if the contract doesn't state otherwise. A longer stay is possible after previous agreement. 

• Gustaf Geri doesn't provide stud services now. 

Price:

• The mating fee is about 500 €.

• 60% of the price is paid the day when your fertilized cat leaves our place.

• The rest of the price is paid within 14 days after the cat gave birth to two and more kittens from this breeding.

• If the cat gives birth to only 1 kitten or dead kitten or maximally one kitten survive the first week of life, no need to pay the rest of the price. 

• If the cat is not fertilized the first time, one repeated mating (return service) of the same cat is included in the price.

• Payment method is cashless money transfer to the bank account.

* Cat has at least 3 generations of known purebred Norwegian Forest Cat ancestors from both sides. If is your cat Novice or has Novice cat in previous generations, I need to consult this mating with my registration body.
